Shawn Tacey is the firm’s managing partner, and has a general business and corporate finance practice with an emphasis on representing emerging technology growth companies in start-up, formation, financing, licensing and distribution transactions.
He has advised clients engaged in private and public offerings of equity and debt securities, venture capital financings, cross-border financings, mergers, acquisitions and intellectual property transfers or protection. Mr. Tacey's general business clients are engaged in real estate development, home construction, real estate investment, equipment manufacturing and the provision of professional and management services.

Education: Mr. Tacey is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Arizona. Mr. Tacey is a frequent speaker on the topics of intellectual property licensing and protection and technology deployment strategies.
